Strictly necessary
When you sign in, Wayfarlo sets a secure, HTTP-only session cookie called floot_built_app_session. It keeps you signed in and helps protect your account. It expires or is removed when you sign out. This cookie is necessary for the signed-in service to work, so it does not require consent.
Preferences and planning on your device
Wayfarlo uses localStorage for preferences and planning information. These examples describe the purpose of stored items rather than an exhaustive list of key names. They stay on your device until you clear them and are not sent to us unless you take an action that requires it.
- terranest-language: your language choice.
- Theme preference: your light or dark theme choice.
- terranest-searches: saved searches.
- terranest-guest-saved: places saved while signed out.
- terranest-recent: recently viewed places.
- terranest-compare: places selected for comparison.
- wayfarlo-notes-<id> and wayfarlo-plan-<id>: private notes and planning checklist progress for a property.
- terranest-listing-draft: unfinished listing details, excluding the photo URL.
- terranest-analytics-choice: whether you allowed optional homepage measurement.
Each of these remains until you clear that device’s site data.
Visitor statistics
Wayfarlo’s hosting platform counts page views using the page path, referrer, browser type, browser language and an approximate country inferred from your time zone. It does not include the query string or IP address. A temporary identifier is kept only in page memory; this page-view count stores nothing on your device.
Separately, optional homepage measurement counts visits and Join or List clicks with a random browser-session ID in sessionStorage. It runs only if you choose “Allow measurement,” and those events are not sent when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is on. You can change your choice on the homepage at any time.
Payments and other websites
Lister membership checkout takes place on Stripe’s own pages. Stripe sets its own cookies under Stripe’s privacy policy. External map, street-view and original-source links open other websites with their own policies. Wayfarlo does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How to clear or control storage
Use your browser settings to clear site data for www.wayfarlo.com. This also removes saved notes, checklists and signed-out saved places on that device. Signing out removes your session cookie.
