Listing standards

What can be listed on Wayfarlo, how listings are reviewed, what is prohibited, and how we act on reports.Updated October 17, 2026 · Operated by Syndicate Hub LLC

Who may list

You must own the property or be authorized to market it, and you must use your own account. Listing access is governed by membership or trial eligibility. The free three-month promotional trial begins when an eligible first listing is submitted for review, is available only once per account, and does not guarantee publication. After the trial, active $20/month membership is required for further submissions. Start a listing.

Accurate listings

Provide a real address or area, a current price and all applicable fees in the stated currency, and genuine availability. Photos must show the actual property and be images you have the rights to use. Do not make misleading claims about the property, its amenities, or its location. See our copyright policy for information about photo and content rights.

Review & source labels

Community listings are reviewed before publication. Review is not a guarantee of a property’s condition or continued availability. Source labels help you understand where a listing came from:

  • Community listing: Submitted by a lister through Wayfarlo.
  • Imported public listing: Sourced from a publicly available listing and identified with its source.
  • Official-source discovery: Discovery information drawn from an official source, rather than a community lister.

Equal treatment

Listings and replies must not discriminate on protected characteristics under applicable fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws, including race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, and any other characteristics protected locally. Do not use discriminatory wording in a listing.

Prohibited listings and conduct

  • Listing property you do not control or lack authority to market.
  • Fake, duplicate, or bait listings.
  • Asking someone to pay by wire transfer, gift cards, or crypto before viewing.
  • Collecting identity documents or deposits outside agreed channels.
  • Short-term rentals that violate local rules.
  • Presenting unsafe or uninhabitable places as habitable.
  • Adult content, contact-harvesting, or spam.

Payments & safety

Never ask guests to pay outside clear, agreed terms. Wayfarlo staff will never ask for passwords or card numbers by email. Read our safety guidance before making arrangements or sending money.

Reports & enforcement

Anyone can privately report a listing from its page. While reviewing a report, we may hide the listing, request evidence, edit its labels, unpublish it, or end listing access. Repeat or serious violations may result in account closure. To appeal a decision, reply to the notice you received or contact us.
